Annotation: Sacred Texts / Hymnal Thread 12 / “Litany of the Leaving”

This is my fourth week re-indexing the Vault of Witness, and I have now confirmed at least seven separate versions of Thread 12—each citing different root phrasing. All approved. All canon.

But only one contains the word **“cradle.”**

The others… they’ve replaced it.  

> “Origin”  

> “Throne”  

> “Flame”

But the original copy—carbon dated and cross-verified by the pre-Reclaiming archives—says clearly:

> “And the flame did not fall from heaven.  

> It rose from the cradle. From Sol.”  

> “We did not ascend. We returned.”

This version is not in the digital Concordance.

It *was*, briefly.  

Then the entry link broke.  

I attempted restoration. Three attempts failed.

The system now shows “Thread 12 – Entry Not Found.”

I know heresy. I’ve studied it.  

But this isn’t heresy.  

It’s something older. Something **intentionally edited**.

The pattern is everywhere: erased references to “the sky beneath,” altered cycles, excised metaphors of descent.

It’s as if the Doctrine was not only meant to *guide faith*—  

—but to **block memory.**

Why?

What was so dangerous about remembering that we came *from below*?

I will not share this with the Temple Council.  

They already know.  

Their silence is too practiced.

I’ll hide a copy of this memo in the Song Vault backup crystal.

If truth is a flame…

Then this is the heat that still glows in the ash.
